I started my career in retail management as a District Manager of nine specialty women's clothing stores before I received my CPA license.  I began my CPA career at Deloitte where I specialized in S-corporation taxation, financial institutions and State and Local Tax.  I moved to Standard Federal Bank as the tax director of the largest thrift in the midwest and fifth largest in the country.  I had ten person tax department, which oversaw the federal tax return preparation, fixed assets, payroll and information reporting.  I then became a Principal and Director of State and Local tax at Rehmann, where I stayed for almost 20 years.
